~ Tend The Garden And Do As Ye Will ~
As children we play in her garden
catching the frogs, romping through the forests, wrestling, playing rough
Let us now dance gracefully and freely
Through the day under the sun
And through the night under the moon and the stars
All to the pipers tune
Let us eat the fruit of her tree
And lie beneath it's shade
Let us tend to the garden
Let us sow seeds
And let them Grow
~ 1 ~ Of Myth and Mystery
Come let us look back for a moment upon a myth from a period of transition between the Aeon of the Mother, and the Aeon of the Father, in a time most ancient, and in that place where two rivers of Our Lady Isis most gracious once baptized and cradled the River Born Cultures.
When Inanna Ishtar patroned the Mesopotamian cultures, within her fertile crescent, some time after this when the ways of Osiris had just begun to take root, it is here that our tale takes place.
In an act of peace between two mighty nations King Nebuchadnezzar II ruler of the neo-Babylonian empire took Amytis of Royal Median blood to be his wife.
Nebuchadnezzar seeing his wife Amytis sad and longing for her home land and its lush vegetation,
set his will to an act of love, he instructed his nations builders to erect a great garden, and so the Hanging Gardens of Babylon where created.
Some accounts tell of arched vaults and walls wide enough that four chariots could ride atop, some of balconies with views that would have been awe-inspiring, most records agree that the gardens had a system of pumps to bring the water up which would then naturally irrigate down terraces of beautiful vegetation.
However the ruins of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon have not been discovered so the exact design is not certain, nor is it certain as to wither they where built by Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon, or as some instead suggest where they built by Sennacherib who ruled Assyria around 705 to 681 b.c.
Indeed since they have not been found we cannot be certain if the Gardens where ever built.
Like so much from aeons of old the truth has been forgotten, lost in the sands of time, and now only scatted fragments of knowledge of what was remains.
Legends, Myths. Enigmas
Yet therein is certain beauty, for what we have is a tale of an act of love, whose actuality is in itself a mystery.
~ 2 ~ To play in the Aeon of the Child
Let us bring our attention to the present moment
Here we are in the very begging of the Aeon of the child,
An aeon ushered in by a renaissance in culture, the discovery of electricity, mass production, and free enterprise.
It was the golden dawn of a new aeon, and with it came greater freedom and power to the arts, science, and industry, thus leading us to the rail train and telephone, all the way to the power to crush atoms.
We have developed and established robotics, the computer, and the Internet, our species now even has satellites in orbit.
We now have the liberty to elect
representatives, and to gather, worship, organize, trade, build, protest, speak, and to grow as we so choose, and the luxury to drive across town or continent, or even fly to anywhere on the Earth we so choose, we have the luxuries of living in dwellings with climate control, plumbing, electricity, and the Internet.
Having harnessed new technologies, we have certainly applied them in many diverse ways to improve our all around quality of life,
Yet still in some ways we as a species have also been like children, playing with new toys, Much of the force of our industry, and so much of our research and development has been like one massive experiment to see how fun of a toy we can make which with to play.
Indeed playing is crucial to a child's development, even rowdily even roughly sometimes.
Yet the technologies we have harnessed are powerful, and thus make a powerful impact upon our environment and us, both in what it takes to fuel the furnace of industry and what effects the smoke of it's chimney has.
In games where the stakes are high it is best to play with certain guidelines, and we have not been the best of sports, with ourselves and with nature.
Consumerism has in a vast many ways negatively effected our relationship with objects, with each other, and with nature.
It has conditioned us to the artificial and the unnatural, a parasite always wants more, and thus has it dulled our senses, for as we cling to the material how can we perceive the invisible?
Greed, division, narcissism, hoarding, the exploitation of others to acquire more, are just some of the various nasty products, made in mass, marketed, package wrapped, and sold to us like eager fools by consumerism.
Observe and behold, the devastation our more ill-natured games have wrought upon our selves, our social relations, and upon the earth herself.
Look down from a high place or even from the window of a plane, and bear witness to the parasitic concrete cancer of metropolitan centers and roads, and high ways which run throughout and between them, the toxic emanations of smoke, and sewage, the miles of landfills...
~ 3 ~ Love or Hate?
O How we have abused the Earth our nurturing mother, Our Lady BABALON
Should the air wreak with the smell of carbon emissions, nigh but only of the flowers of her lovely head-dress
Should we burn coal until we surely suffocate her, nigh but an offering of sage and lemongrass
Should her rivers murk with oil, nigh but only of the silt of her nurturing milk
Should the soil be tinged and tainted with lead, and mercury, nigh but only of the minerals aright of her body
Should the morning dew taste of acid rain, nigh but only of the sweetness of her sweat, yet so often it is so
This is not love
One might say this is an abusive relationship, worse one may be quite correct.
For we have ignored her cries so long we have forgotten the language of her tongue, we have cut her forests down, and we have caged her in, made her submissive, trampled her down under our cities and streets.
We have bitten the hand that feeds us.
Nor doth it serve us well for in abusing our environment we thus abuse our selves, so disconnected from her nurturing love, putting our trust in the artificial over the natural, we have chosen our machine to care for us, but a machine does not love, our artificially fertilized produce, our hormone injected livestock, our over processed "food" these things may get us by, but they do not truly nurture us not the way a mother does.
Indeed the situation is dire, for Babalon is the bride of Kaos, and it is not her will to live in a cage, we are hurting her and our selves by so doing,
for you cannot poison the soil without poisoning that which grows in it.
We reap what we sow.
Now the earth warms, Now the waters rise, Now the air is tainted, Now the wild fires rage, now the soul grows weary and ill
All elements of nature have been affected, her air, her waters, her soil, her temperature, her vegetation, her wild beasts -including us.
We have disrupted her cycles, and thrown off the delicate balance of her dance.
The ice wears thin. The elements rage and the storm tempest, The danger of a critical mass approaches.
~ 4 ~ Growth is Evolution
Yet all is not lost. Though a cycle is coming to an end, This Aeon has only begun
"How this new Aeon of Horus will develop, how the Child will grow up, these are for us to determine..."*
The circumstances which our navigation has led us to on our journey, the moment in which we exist presents certain challenges, and poses certain threats, yet provides certain opportunities, and offers certain joys, and armed with our knowledge, our will, our love, our social might, our very industry, and technology which has led us here, as our tools we may meet the challenge of evolution, and adapt to change. We may succeed, Yay May We EXCEED!
There are many dimensions of moment expressed, there are many facets to the circumstance in which we find ourselves There are needs to be addressed, and many available options at our disposal, yet only one true way forward, if we but apply our will to an act of love, we will surely move upon our orbit, and succeed.
Among the needs of evolution is to adapt and transform our species relationship with ourselves, each other, and nature, from of a parasitic interaction, to a symbiotic interaction. An important aspect of this is to change our relationship with our scarlet woman to one of Love instead of hate.
~ 5 ~ Love and the Veil
Pan and Gia, they're love doth feign, like a waning fire the upon wick of a candle, burning in the dark night, cool breezes testing the soul of the flame
for he hath turned his back upon his lady, and gone off to toy with machines, taking all from her and giving back so little, abused and withering she cries for his love, out of tune with her, he turns a deaf ear...
Yet vague memories remain of a time that seems so distant, when they walked hand and hand all along the trails in the twilight hours, their love passionate and burning like a star in the deeps of space, so some nights when the planets align he too cries for her love, and slowly he begins to long for her companionship, her touch, her breath, her generous love.
So much tension lies between them, and he wonders what can he do to show her his love,
So he sat by a tree after eating it's fruit, yet the fruit was poison and he fall into trance, and there under that tree did he pass into the abyss, confronting his shadow, He passed through the darkness and into the light, and beheld a vision of clarity, and did hear the lyres and chorus from the courtyard of the garden divine,
Singing "There is no bond that can unite the divided but love, For I am divided for loves sake, for the chance of union"*
A token of his love, and of his will, a Garden he will build unto her, and grow her beautiful fragrant lilies and roses, and sweet grapes and dates,
petals would he leave at her feet, leading her to bouquets by the shores of pools of water where they would swim, and where he would toast with her glasses of wine,
He would offer a great act of his will to express his love for her.
Then three days after the poison did subside, he awoke, and rejoiced in the name.
Are we not but beasts of the Earth?
Are we not but the Beast where upon She rideth?
What other way to re-unite with our parted lover is there than an act of love to Our Lady BABALON.
Let us invert our hate to love
Where we have sowed destruction and death, Let us sow healing, and life
Where we have desecrated her land, Let us build Gardens unto her
Just as Nebuchadnezzar of old built Gardens unto his Lady Amytis, Let Us build Gardens unto Our Scarlet Woman
Let Us Grow Gardens unto Our Lady BABALON
Let Us manifest a New Aeon Hanging Gardens of BABALON
In the garden grows a tree
And that tree has many parts, each fulfilling purposes diverse yet all toward the growth of that tree.
Its roots grow deep, and absorb nutrients from the soil, rich in minerals and decaying remnants of life,
It's trunk grows strong and carries the life force up and down as it points the tree toward the sky,
Which its branches reach high into,
From the branches grow leaves taking light from the sun to apply in its craft to the that which it absorbed from it's Roots and converting it to energy, and thereby releasing oxygen.
About it's leaves grow colorful flowers emanating with perfume delightful
which when pollinated permutate into sweet tasting fruit, which contains a seed
Which when planted grows another tree.
For the seed bears the pattern for the entire tree.
~ 6 ~ A new Aeon Hanging Garden
The Garden has many terraces which trickle down it's life giving waters
Let Us grow a garden from BABALON
Garden which grows from Nuit
Let the Garden be properly aligned, let the cornerstone be perfect, let the design be disposed aright
Let the Garden emanate the current Aumgn
As King Nebuchadnezzar built unto Amytis the Hanging Gardens of Babylon so long ago
So let us as her lover build a Hanging Gardens unto BABALON in this New Aeon
Be it that we erect one Tier as a garden that may emanate as a beacon, let it grow green, let it's illumination guide others
Be it that we erect another Tier as a center of learning ways of living which flow with nature, such as the cycles of Natures Seasons, and the Lunar and Solar cycles, as well as nurturing diets, gardening, Permaculture, Feng Shui, Yoga, Tia Chi, etc
Be it that we erect another Tier as a center of natural therapies such as Reiki, Acupuncture, massage, and herbs
Be it that we erect another Tier as a center of silence, of meditation sublime
Let the garden flourish
Let the waters flow
Let the air be fresh
Let the fires of dancers in the night
Fill the soul with knowledge and delight
Through our great work
Tending her Garden
We shall thus grow close again to Our Lady
We shall attune ourselves with of the Tao of Her Body
And Dance again with Her under the Stars.
~ 7 ~ The dance of orbit
So Let Us light beacons, central gardens which may emanate forth more gardens, that we may be the Gardeners of BABALON
Let us establish these centers and grow gardens upon them
that we may nurture the earth
that we may eat the fruit thereof
that we may dance in ecstasy and lie in silence therein
that we may grow therewith
Also Let Us branch out and engage in improving our surrounding environment, the land and the communities in which we grow
by engaging in projects of cleaning the earth of litter, contamination, and pollution
litter clean up walks, soil restoration, and by research into methods of healing the damage of the abuse already dealt
by giving out and setting up raised beds and hanging planters to those in areas whose soil is contaminated, and cannot afford groceries
by helping set up community gardens
and to operate(or to help set up and provide initial and long term volunteers, to offer technical guidance and assistance with) any feasible projects which work toward the great cause of Tending our Lady's Garden.
And so let us also operate all this in a manner appropriate to the new Aeon, whose law is; Do what thou wilt.
Let us act in love, life, light, liberty, and law.
Let the Garden provide an opportunity of learning and growth to all it's Gardeners
Let the Garden offer an apprenticeship to it's Gardeners
Let the apprenticeship be the model of organization
Let the work crews self manage themselves in the tending of the garden according to their level of knowledge and skill
Let the apprenticeship always offer further education when Gardeners have attained new levels of mastery
Let the Garden thus take in wwoofers, interns, various volunteers, and even dedicated and paid caretakers
All as Gardeners, all to partake of delicious fruits under the shade of her tree.
Let The Gardeners exchange labor for fruits, vegetables and herbs, and all hosted therapies, workshops, and classes of instruction.
Indeed Let the Gardeners rejoice in the bountiful harvest and dance on into the night!
Dancing whirling about the courtyard of the Garden, ever in that rhythm Aumgn
Tending her garden with care, Gardeners sow seeds
Fed with the rich minerals of decomposing matter, some seeds begin to sprout
Roots reaching into the black earth,
It's shoots push up through the soil
And break through the surface, small sprouts of leaves feel the light of the sun
The plant begins to grow forth,
And in time it reaches high into the sky
And begins to bud and flower
Bees smelling the sweet fragrance thereof go to and fro, collecting pollen
Which thus spreads between the male and female plants thus allowing them to bear fruit, which bears more seeds
A fruit most delicious, most nurturing, most illuminating.
Ever aware is the Gardner upon the mound
Observing the growth of the plants about him, tending to her garden
He knows when to water and when it shall rain
He knows which herbs to burn and which herbs to eat
He know the scents and the colors of the flowers
He knows what plant needs weeded out, and where to let the wild flower blossom
He knows how and what to graft
He knows what tree will fruit, and which vegetable is not ripe
He knows when, where, and how to sow which seeds
He knows when to trim,
He knows when to harvest.
He knows how to dance so as not to hurt the little flowers in her garden.
He knows his duty and He has will, yet He loves to tend to Her Garden.
With Love hath He planted the seed
May The Seed Grow!
